We party!

October promises to be a very busy month for the Breaxity crew.
We're going to play twice in the Kosmic(Ghent), 1st time round on the 14th with a(ragga)jungle to breakcore evening, the second night, on the 28th, we will be unleashing the breakz-vibe upon you.

Oh, did i mention these are both FREE parties?

Also, the week inbetween these two parties we have yet another gig, the 21st of october we will do a breakz-night @ club Decadance
This will not be a free party, as door policy @ Decadance is 5€ to get in.

Looks like next month will be a lot of work but i'm totally up for it!
Are you?

Partytime!

Party life is recovering from the holidays, at last!

This also means: time to go play out again!
Tomorrow i am going to play on an afterparty of a 2-week project, called Cultstation and on saturday i'm playing @ Nebula (Brugge)
I made me a nice set of dark & twisted dnb, some jungle & a tad of corestuff, so its gonna be one hell of a weekend!

show of 23 september 05

Tinoboy ahoi!

As mentioned before we will be having a Spanish ambient & chill-electronic's loving dj/drummer, going by the name of Tinoboy. Atmospheric moods inbound!

The second half of the show will concist of dj 319's selection of breakzvibes for this week & a dark dnb set from Hectic.

Enjoy!

Breaxity in Use-it article

While checking out Use-It Gent i stumbled on this mentioning of our parties @ Kosmic :-)

"

Translated it sounds like this:

"Kozmic is a shabby café, but on the Breaxity-parties we get good elekto & breakcore, in one word, music of the future. Young talented dj's from Ghent all want to play because of the underground atmosphere. High density of dreadlocks & sweating anarchists."

Change of plans

Instead of the original plan I did an all-night drum n bass show. This due to the fact that Soul cancelled his visit to Breaxity, and on top of that dj 319 also wasnt able to be there, so that gave me the chance to treat you with a 2-hour dnb exploration set, with tune selection going from jiggy vibes to dark & deep grinding horror. I'll put a link to the recording here as soon as the set is online.

Guest updates

This week we have Soul coming over, and along with him a nice case of grimey records. Yes, you got that right, Soul is going to leave his mic @ home and get behind the wheels of steel!

Mc Soul bio

Next week we can confirm Tinoboy will pop in for a chill electronics & ambient set. Not what you'd expect from a Spanish drummer, right?

Tune in, rinse out!

Welcome to Breaxity !

At last, a more "decent" webspot for the Breaxity radio show, as heard on Urgent.fm. The purpose of this page is to keep you informed about our shows, guests, scene news...

The two producers of Breaxity will hit you with anything ranging from breakz to breakcore...anything that makes us shake our asses! On top of that we regularly have guest dj's & producers coming over.

We will be adding links to recordings of the shows, be sure to grab these while you can because every new recording replaces the previous one (until we get a free super hostingpackage where i can dump ALL of the recordings, wouldnt that be nice?)
Anyhow, the best way to check us out is listening to Urgent.fm, 105.3 FM, if you live in or around Gent (Belgium).

Don't worry, if you live on the other side of the globe you can still tune in using Winamp or any other player that supports the .ogg format in which we broadcast.
Go to Urgent.fm for links & details on players.

That's about it for now, enjoy the shows!
